Shownotes
This episode consists of my dad and I putting up our Christmas village. I discuss the houses and figures in the village as well as a few other things as we listen to Christmas music in the background (not podsafe, but the CD was playing at the time of the recording)
Recorded on my Braille Note, which probably explains the sound quality. It's actually not that bad.
Might do some more of these Christmas decorating casts soon, so stay tuned!!!

I got my Christmas tree trivia from the following Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_tree
The sound quality on this one isn't the best, but it's better than some of the previous episodes and I'm trying to improve it.
Hope you enjoy this one!!!

I was supposed to play some message from the new comment line in this episode, but have run into some problems saving the voicemails as wav files. (I can open them in Outlook Express but can only save them as .eml or .html files) If anyone has experience with k7 voicemail lines, I'd appreciate your help.
I'm truly thankful for all your support and feedback over the past few months. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
As you can probably tell, I've been doing a lot of work on the website over the past week. Here's some of the things I've done.
Home Page: has been revamped, again, and probably not for the last time either. I took out the Counter, added a tell-a-friend, put a direct link to subscribe to the cast, and made a few other minor changes. The main content remains the same however. I also joined the Podcast Pickle webring and added the Bravent Traffic Booster, which will hopefully do its job. Sorry in advance if you don't like random Bravenet member sites popping out at you.
FAQ: finished the About the Podcast and Website sections, for now anyway. Still have to work on About Me.
Archive: not sure what to do about that since Putfile won't let me upload any audio above 25 mb. May have to mooch some server space off someone.
More changes possibly coming soon, so keep reading this. Of course, if there's anything you think the site could or could not use, let me know. Speaking of contacting me, KLFE now has its very own working comment line. You now leave me your podcast-related messages at 206-984-9506 Please give me a ring. I might even play your message on the cast. I'll be using the Comment Line prominently in my Thanksgiving episode (should be published tomorrow or Thursday morning.
Still looking for reciprocal advertisers. Please let me know if you want me to promote something for you. All you have to do is mention my podcast on your site, blog, or show. Not hard at all.
Well, guess that's all.

Shownotes
This is the first official episode of Kerri Live From Everywhere in nearly three months. To celebrate, I play some excellent podsafe music from http://www.podsafeaudio.com I also discuss the podcast's website, and my hope to get some reciprocal advertising started.
Heard On This Podcast:
1 "I Wanna Go Home" Samantha Murphy
2 "For a Reason (remastered)" Andre Louis
3 "And To Think" Hop On Pop
4 "Tell It Like It Is" Andre Louis
5 "Evangeline" Grey Martin
6 "The Tooting Stick" Andre Louis
7 "A Prayer" Yunyu
I'm very happy with the way this episode turned out. Of all the podcasts I've done over the past few months, this one required the most work. I had to convert several of the songs to mp3, and change some sample and bit rates to fit Odeo's requirements. Fortunately, everything turned out well. Hope you enjoy it!!

Let me know if you have any trouble playinbg this. I'm having issues with feedburner at the moment and I really hope they don't carry over to GCast. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy. I think you'll find this episode rather interesting.

Sorry about the sound quality in this one folks. Don't know what's up with Wavepad but whatever it is I plan to fix it. Also, if you're looking for any links to sites I mention in the cast check out the Links section on this site. Obvious no?
So, this is the first entry in the News and Notes blog on this site. Hmm, what news and notes do I have for you? Well, after several moves from webhost to webhost I hope KLFE has found a home here at Bravenet. I've certainly been impressed by the level of service around here, especially the prompt and eficient folks over at the Support Center. (yes visually impaired readers, they will help you start an account if you ask) Building this site and using the many other features Bravenet provides has been quite enjoyable as well, and so far I can't complain about accesibility once you've signed up. As for the podcast, I'm planning on getting more recordings from the NFB Convention up tonight as I don't have much else to do and I feel bad enough about making you wait this long. Unfortunately, I started a summer job last week and that, a pretty crappy cold, and a few other things have kept me somewhat preoccupied. Don't worry, now that things are straightening out I'm going to go back to regular podcasts again. The shownotes will all be posted in here as well as links to the episodes in question.
In other news, it's HOT! Extremely HOT! I am in love with my air conditioning right now.
More later, Kerri
